In our congregation, the “Sacred Readings” section in the service makes use of readings not only from the Bible, but from other sources as well – poetry, song, essays, etc. This response is sung following the readings, and was co-authored by myself and our Music Director, Eric McEuen, a local singer/songwriter. The music was written by Eric, and he has given us permission to post the music here to be used.
Living God, touch our hearts through these words and through your Spirit. Kindle our imaginations; breathe your life into our actions as we dream and work to shape Your new world.
