Celebrating Questions, Courage, and Community
Advent is a time of yearning, expectation, hope and joy. The Church is a place where all of that comes together, where we can lament and laugh, question and celebrate, and sometimes do that all at once. We gather in community to celebrate and explore the ageless story of the presence of God in our world, and the promise that Christ has brought of life and love, justice, and peace.
This collection of Advent worship resources touches on issues of joy, love, hope, and peace, as well as questioning, lament, and fear. These resources, like Advent itself, holds all that together, and yet helps the Church to celebrate in the midst of it all.
