Raggedy Church

  • by
When we get serious about the healing of creation, we stop living smoothly in the world.
     We become rough edges:
We snag on Conventional Wisdom and Business as Usual
We do not just gently slip by.
 We become raggedy church.

This is a liturgy exploring what it means to be a church that takes seriously the pain and devastation of Creation’s grief – vanishing species, climate change, melting ice caps, pollution, environmental racism, and on and on – and how we might live and respond as Church.

The full liturgy is posted as a lengthy PDF file, with notes.
